Back at the racecourse
I was back at Epsom racecourse again on a day when the grandstand was one moment in deep shade and the next in brilliant sunshine, bright against a dark sky. There was a cold wind, not conducive to standing outside, taking photographs.
I was lunching at the pub at the end of the racecourse, called The Rubbing House with the thought that this is where the horses used to be rubbed down at the end of the race. (See extra)
I was there with WI friends, a group of us who firm the Camera Group. We meet monthly in some scenic venue, pleased to have the opportunity to take photos in our own time and exchange ideas.
