SNOW ON THE PINE
Every thing was melted yesterday, but this morning the ground is white again. Just a pretty sprinkling here. Probably forty years ago, we went to the beach for a wedding anniversary. Hiking along a railroad track, we found all of these tiny little pine trees. I put one in a paper cup, and brought it home. It lived for years beside our deck. When we moved into the new house, I dug it up to move it here. But I found out that it was actually two trees. So I performed surgery to separate them. Still thriving after seventeen years here.
