148 Special Services Squadron RAF

A tribute to my Father today who died two years ago on 9th January 2015. He was a Sergeant tail gunner with Bomber command in WW2 flying mainly in the Halifaxes. He served in Italy towards the end of the war. He was later commissioned as an officer and earned a British Empire Medal during my early school years.
