Fresh after the rain

Mum is staying with me for the weekend, complete with cat! We went for a coffee at a local garden centre, and while sitting under a large parasol on the patio there the heavens opened. 5 mins later the rain eased enough for us to make a dash for the main building. It then started again with thunder and lightening, and a loud rat-tat-tat on the roof. The roofs of the greenhouses making up the building were not up to such weather and the rain started pouring through into the kitchens and offices, much to the dismay and consternation of the manager. This time we were trapped for 10 or 15mins before daring to dash to the car. 10mins later the sun was shining brightly in blue skies!

The garden smelt wonderful after the rain - fresh and sweet - and this borage was glistening in the light. It struck me as a good subject for a blip, and just fitted missymoo's August challenge.
