Tiger

It got very dark and wet late this afternoon. I tried a few bird shots but couldn't get a fast enough shutter-speed in the poor light.

While I was at Pettycur harbour, the Forth Ports Pilot boat Forth Tiger set out from Burntisland on its way to rendezvous with Subsea 7 (Seven Sisters) in order to safely guide it in to Rosyth.

I thought the water was fairly calm but realised there must have been a bit of a swell when I saw the splashes.
