Wednesday: Vancouver Police Department

I met with the impressive Chief of the Vancouver Police Department today.  We talked a lot about the various pressures, including the biggest which is the drug fentanyl.  It's taken on huge proportions on the streets of the city.  It comes in from Asia and currently, there are about three deaths a day as a result of overdoses.

Vancouver is generally a pretty crime-free city but that, by far, is his biggest challenge.  

Did you see Trump's press conference - I am so worried about next week and thereafter.  I really can't believe that Obama is really going and that the highest office in the land is now going to have such a lack of dignity attached to it.
