Dawn for Shells

Dawn is now at 6AM and the air is chillier. Out in one of the coves I row by every day, there was steam coming off the water like it does in the fall as the warm water and cold air meet. I do not take a camera into my single with me as two oars and a tippy boat do not make for a good combination for items that should not risk a bath. BUT there is no shortage of moments I would love to shoot in these early first light hours.

We are heading up to Mount Rainier tomorrow early for more hiking before our grey wet weather sets in - in this region you get out in this compressed period of time as much as you can!
