Day Three

Kirkby Stephen to Keld.

This is us at the "Nine Standards" (maybe I will edit in a wiki-link soon...) Here's the link! It is an obscure ancient monument not far out of Kirkby Stephen. A row of nine weird structures that look a bit like giant stone beehives. No-one seems to know why they are here or what they are for.

Better weather today... actually sunny some of the time!

Vast expanses of bog stretched on for several miles from this point onwards, and we hopped, jumped and floundered our way through to Keld.
