Alan's support worker Ashleigh bought Alan a mirror ball for Christmas.  A full size one!  She didn't realise it was so big when she ordered it.  Of course now he has it, he loves it.  We just need to find a place to hang it!  Of course once it's in situ, we will have to replace 24 hour Christmas music with 24 hour disco music.
