Redemption (Denied)

This church has been a bar or night club as long as I can remember, and it seemed to have been closed down for a long time. Recently it had a refurbishment and it reopened under the new name of "Redemption" a couple of months ago. It looked much better as there used to be a bit of a mess in front of the entrance.

Last week it was announced it was going to close down again, and I think has already done so. An application had been made to extend the licensing hours until 4am, this was turned down and the closure followed within days of the denial. It is probably not the ideal time to be opening new late night venues in Aberdeen.

I quite like the appearance of the building, in particular the two turrets.

A bright sunny day, though cold. Very strong winds forecast for the early hours of the morning.
