Snow!

The predicted snow came in short but heavy showers throughout the day and is still falling, blizzard-like, at the moment. This was taken from my kitchen window.

Because of the weather, friend June and I postponed our planned lunch date for another week, neither of us keen to drive in the snow, so I did some paper-shredding and baked a couple of Mary Berry fruit loaves.
