Snipe in Hail

There were easily 30 snipe in the breakwater at Kirkwall marina this afternoon as well as about 10 redshank and a pair of red-breasted merganser. This bird was in the breakwater on the shore near the Peedie Sea and sat there as the hail started lashing down.
