Abandoned van

This van (with a very flat tyre) has been parked here since August?! This is half way along the lane where I sometimes go for my walks. Obviously it must have been abandoned because who leaves a van half way along a lane for almost 6 months? Every time we walk along the lane Ann wonders if there's a dead body in the back of it. But she's got an over active imagination!

The question is.......................... who does it belong to and why has nothing been done to remove it?

OK, so there are no parking restrictions along the lane and it isn't causing an obstruction but can one really leave a large van in a country lane for almost six months?

And the other thing; if we did want to report it.......................... just who does one report it to? The police, the council, the people who live along the lane?


I'm guessing that nothing has been done about it because everyone is just expecting someone else to deal with it?!


It will be interesting to see just how long it is allowed to stay here???
