Moth-eaten butterfly!

Wow! Hundreds of butterflies today - many of them sunning themselves on the fence. Mainly Peacock (approx 36 - it's really hard to count) but also Red Admiral, Small Tortoiseshell, Small and Large White, Meadow Brown and Gatekeepers. This Red Admiral looks a bit worse for wear!!
