The conductor (or whatever they're called - probably something like Customer Anti-Fair Evasion Executive) has a sense of humour. :-)

Now heading out of London Liverpool Street, a series of unfortunate events has caused chaos this afternoon / evening. Two and a half hours passed without a train I'm told. Consequently our departure is delayed, but most of the problems are now passed. We're moving, if a bit slowly. There are advantages to working long hours after all.

I haven't actually been outside since leaving Southampton station. It's dark of course, but I've not seen any sign of snow - yet!
