Happy Birthday, Gill.

Today is Gill's birthday. We've had a really nice day despite the dire weather. We sat in front of the TV drinking fizz and eating chocs, plus we went out and had a nice meal this evening. What a day! We've had a lot of rain, but virtually no snow, despite all the dire warnings and general panic. I know a lot of my ex colleagues are hoping for a snow day tomorrow, but I feel their hopes may be in vain, unfortunately. I remember unconfined joy whenever our school's name was called out on the radio on a snowy morning.
