Rodent

It was a bad day here. Freezing rain, slippery roads, closed schools.

I had to resort to my upstairs stalking window.

The worst thing? When I looked out my front window at 9 a.m., there was a buddy of this guy...laying in the street...at the end of my driveway...obviously hit by a car.

I slipped on my shoes, grabbed a snow shovel, and put the squirrel out in our back forty...underneath a big pile of leaves.

Always sad to see.
