iPhone shot today.

A busy period at work and the Blip shows, to me, the speed of change in the lighting world.

The item on the left is a ballast, or choke as some call it. I used to sell thousands of these beasties on a weekly basis. It's now termed old fashioned (and obsolete) technology.

On the right we have an LED lamp. Supposed to last forever and now the price of such items is such that it's nearly impossible to make decent money in the wholesale trade. That said, you do get what you pay for.

In the last 12 months the (my) lighting world has seen massive changes and for the consumer most of these are very positive. For me it's a case of diversifying and getting on the bandwagon at the same time. 

Ach well, such is life!
