It did snow in the end.

Dreadfully wet for most of the day, torrential rain especially on the way home from our walk into town this morning. On a bit of pavement leading up to some traffic lights where there are two narrow lanes a motorist sped up the narrow inside lane through water running along the gutter... well you can guess the rest.

At about 430pm the rain, as predicted turned to snow, and believe it or not began to settle on top of the sodden ground. Also predicatably it seems the roads in Kent immediately became e gridlocked with journeys along the M20 which usually take about 10 minutes taking 2 hours.
