Mt. Olympus

Hiked up to Mt. Olympus, Manoa's highest peak. It was an incredibly clear day-- usually the top of the Ko'olau range is socked in with clouds-- but today we had a 360 degree view of O'ahu. Took Wa'ahila Ridge trail and pushed on to Mt. Olympus. Lots of steep sections with rope, cliffs, etc. You can tell how far back we are-- in this shot you can see all parts of town. Although you can't see it, behind me is a sheer cliff straight down to the Windward side. The 6 mile hike took about 3 1/2 hours.
