Trusty Rusty

Hadn't blipped TR for awhile. We were at the 40 acres this morning with the well driller to see about drilling a water well, so I decided to take TR's photo.
When we got home this afternoon after the last of the grandies school shopping, I remarked to hubby how the wind had just started blowing wildly. While driving up our driveway I noticed our 33+ year old Gravenstein apple tree had blown over! I was so sad. We planted that tree when we moved to this place. Hubby thinks he can stand it up and tie it down. I hope so. We'll try it and see. Will have to remove most of the apples from it and they aren't quite ready yet. :-(
