Storm Surge?

Admittedly this was 30 minutes after high tide but there was zero evidence of the storm surge toppling sea defences, at least along this stretch of the red zone! In fact the sea was remarkably flat - probably because wind blowing out to sea not inwards. Hopefully the same is true up and down the coast and all the evacuated households will be fine.

Red warnings already disrupted weekend plans with a last minute change of holiday let required. Let's hope that is an end to Fridayv13th trouble!
