The Wedding Cake

So named because of it's flamboyant design. This Neo- Gothic architecture in New Court, St John's college, Cambridge, was designed by Thomas Rickman and Henry Hutchinson and is an addition to the existing buildings, founded in 1511, and built on the west side of the river Cam 1826-31. Today started with rain, then sleet and later the sunshine broke through the clouds giving us a glorious day. Totally unexpected after the awful forecast.
