Ripley Castle

Out for a short walk in the icy cold wind this morning, I snapped this view of Ripley castle. It was actually taken from alongside the nearby cricket pitch, poking my camera lens through a rather vicious thorny hedge. (scratches to prove it!)
I took it as this is not the usual view that visitors to Ripley get of the castle.
To the right is Ripley church, and you can just see the lake in the castle grounds on the left.

I was hoping to trespass into the cricket ground slightly ('tut tut' I hear you say) to get a better view, but a sudden sleety cold shower convinced me it was time to call it a day.
