Pulling the birds

We had a glut of apples this year and they have been lying beneath the trees at the side of the house. Had a sudden brain wave to put them beneath the feeder to try and lure the blackbirds etc into camera view. Lo and behold it brought in lovely redwings and also fieldfares (see extra.) 
Chilly here but otherwise a lovely day.
