Little things...

...please little minds, or so they say.  I do wonder about myself sometimes though, and today was one of those days.  We had to lose our filing cabinet due to lack of space in the study, so instead we bought 20 box files.  Today, I labelled them all up with the contents contained therein and then put them all into alphabetical order on the shelf and the label string on each is tied in a neat little bow.  Now, nothing wrong with that you might think, (well, apart from the bows...I suppose that might be considered a little over the top), however...it was the enormous sense of satisfaction and even happiness I felt at the conclusion of this task that caused me to reflect!  I’m not sure what that says about me...but the quote below sort of sums up my possible reason for satisfaction (and it is comforting to know that my reaction to the completion of this task is not unique to me).
 
I'm pretty good at getting things out of the way, especially paperwork. I hate it sitting about, as it somehow weighs me down. Cherie Lunghi


By the way it did snow here today, so I did consider a  tasteful 'snow blip' but as you can see I was far too busy!
