Veggie Cafe, Ilkley

Arrived in Kendal fir our last weekend at the Heaves `Hotel where we have stayed on and off since 1985. Our small group of cricketers at seven this year are gathered for another weekend of nostalgia and reminiscing. Always good to renew friendships in this way.

On way R and I stopped at a small cafe in Ilkley which serves wonderful vegetarian fare including soups and Welsh rarebit which were every bit as good this year as the last two. The buidness though still small and cosy has grown over the past three years and is busy and vibrant. Lovely drive over with fields with a smattering of snow. I would have liked to stop but we carried on.
