National Dress Up Your Pet Day

Who thinks up these things? And why do I follow along? 

I knitted my girl a coat a month or so ago. She's a Lab and just doesn't need it. But no.  I feel she must have one since I knitted her brother Bailey the Dalmatian one (about 20 years ago now!). She was such a good sport about it, but I think her face gives her away, don't you?  "Oh, mom...really?" I should add that it's about 48 degrees here today. About 9 degrees celsius? She wore it long enough to sit still for this shot. My sweet girl.
