Basil and the Triffid

Remember the triffid that was growing through the bedroom window? Here is the offending plant (jasmine). Basil likes to walk to and through the base where Len has cut back growth to stalks. I guess it's a way of stimulating his skin and coat. Nothing like a good back scratch.

Two Basil photos on the trot! It's because he's such a good  model. Hopefully tomorrow I shall find something else to blip now that I've got the 2015-2016 tax return out of the way. Actually had to pay tax this year.

The delivery men brought the new sofa suite this afternoon. Len was concerned that they hadn't arrived by 2 pm and phone SCS. Something about the men having forgotten to put the suite on the van. Anyway, it's here and it's far too easy to nod off in the reclining seats.
