A pleasant surprise

This lovely clematis was a very pleasant surprise today.

We have a little bit of snow on the ground and as it was so cold it didn't melt.

I've been out for a meal with good friends today. David would have normally been there. I felt a little bit like a gooseberry as I was the only lady on her own. There have been tears. David would have enjoyed it.
