One of my favorite birds to see when I am visiting Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge is the Roseate Spoonbill, and today I was not disappointed!
But I am starting to gather new favorites in my repertoire. So in my extras you will see part of a roost that included both snowy egrets and a great egret, a snowy egret scaling up a trunk of a palm tree, a wood stork with those ever present snowy egrets, and a white ibis with its catch of the day!
Boy, do I love this place!
