Breakfast time?

I am sharing with the world of Blip my new acquisition from the local Auction. I was drawn to it by the 'odd' subject matter and the muted colours it's painted in. Judging by the clothes,hairstyles,marmalade in a dish(!) I think it's probably 1950s or early 60s. A very "David Lynch" subject- is the Woman a Man or are they both Women! Food for thought.
