Confusion!

I've decided I need a clean slate for blipfoto.

Having reached only my 10th photo, i realise i compare myself far to other blippers, with numbers of comments and views concerning me, when I do not want this to be an issue/concern as I know and want this to be a blog about the pictures I take rather than the views they gain.

In my opinion there are two solutions.
One would be remove viewing stats and disable comments for my pictures, however I still would like to feel people can express views on my journal, be it about the picture or what I have written, so I do not want to have to do this just yet.
Instead my second attempt is to simply view this site once a day, to upload my picture, ignoring others' images, comments, views etc, which I hope will stop me dwelling on what others are doing.
I'll try this for a week and see if this stops me caring about what others and hope it allows me to concentrate purely on the picture I take for each day.

I hope I can get over my initial stumble within the blipping-world, because both the challenge, and the community, is something I want to fully involve myself within.
