Lusignac a bastide town
The forecast was good so we left early 0830 for a bike ride .. it was still a bit nippy so jackets on today .... and we tried another new route which took us down a rather rough off the road the track .. not my favourite kind of route but it was so so quiet there and we got this different view of Lusignac - a classic bastide town.. walled to keep out the British!! In this shot you can see the extent of the town and the old church ...
Back to get ready for a lunch out at a restaurant which is supposed to have some of the best food around here.. It is a sort of advanced birthday lunch for Mr A as his birthday is in a couple of days time but this chef only cooks on certain days and today is the day!!!
