Candles For Katie

The widely reported death, earlier this week, of seven year-old Katie Rough has touched the heart of the nation and left our tight-knit community reeling.

We opened the church to offer a place for folk to come and pray, think, grieve, support one another and pay respects.

Hundreds of people, including family, friends, fellow school children, staff, teachers, local and non-local residents, came to draw images, talk, be quiet and light a candle in her name.
