Treat

I get vouchers giving discounts on other products in my food boxes - they go straight in the bin. However the thought of getting fresh flowers was too irresistible in the last box so I checked out their website. I liked what I saw - long stemmed flowers of great variety - plus a huge vase to display them in for free using my voucher! I signed up and these are some that arrived! Purples,blues, pinks and orange - they make a beautiful and arresting visual display in my kitchen! At the moment I have signed up for fortnightly deliveries - but will maybe be less extravagant and go monthly until my allotment provides my own flowers and I will take a break - perhaps!
Managed to pick up my stitches - or as HarlingDarling put it I  "tinked"! I decided to concentrate on the scarf and leave the blanket and now it really is looking scarf like - only another 11 sets of six rows and I can begin the flare! I also got the rhythm of each set and don't have to refer to the pattern for every row! So a silver lining to the fact I had to do some tinking!
P.S. tree is still up! My excuse is that I have mislaid ( lost forever!) my secateurs so cannot chop the tree into little bits and spread them round my blueberry bushes!
