On the Edge of the Sky

Spent the day (which started at 4.15am!) in Troon on the west coast of Scotland for an entertainment comeptition with the band.

I'm bad enough at organisation at a normal time of day but doing a head count at 6am is taking it too far, so glad to have the new secretary supporting me! Anyway, we got everyone on the bus, got to the rehearsal room despite the bus driver getting lost (twice), got on the stage, put on a good performance and then went to the pub!

Struggling to talk today as we sang all the way home (a 2 hour journey).

Anyway, I took this picture just before the bus left. The sight of the couple staring out to Ailsa Craig really caught my attention.
