Anchored To The Wall.

The plaque on the wall reads .This 17th , century anchor was brought up from the sea bed off the Lizard by David Grosvenor Hosking and Robert Williams Porthleven fishermen whilst fishing on their boat "The Melanie Claire in 1977. Sadly David had a fatal accident some years later on board their boat.the net loft at the top of the village named after David and his wife "Damar ".It is now rented out to Porthleven Community church as a charity shop.they support many charities one of which is orphaned children in Burma.
