Wax

Despite a sunny, snowy, scenic drive to Hubby's dad I didn't take any photos.

Luckily the amaryllis has opened. I bought this before Christmas and really wasn't sure it would be a success. The bulb is coated in wax and there is no need to water it. 

Glad to say it has been successful and doesn't even need any support to the stem. Must look out for them again next year.
