I can have my cake and eat it

This is another nice cake made by Redilady's fellow volunteer and expert cake maker, sometimes known as Ninja Pat, who makes them for her friends at the charity shop and often sends one for me.
Due to rather unfortunate (but we hope not serious) circumstances, the guests that we were expecting for afternoon tea have had to cancel, so we now have a fresh cream Victoria sponge in the fridge. It will just have to be eaten, I don't know how I'll manage :-)
