Cold Ride.

Today I went out with Ian for a ride around the South Downs. It was quite cold but when the sun came out, very pleasant indeed. Thankfully the precipitation held off until we were nearly home, after 42 miles. Pictured is Ian, posing in a manly style next to the meander of the Cuckmere river estuary. It's at the bottom of a long steep hill, so we had to stop and let the brakes cool down, without resorting to the coolant often favoured by pro riders.
