Missed it

It was a lovely bright morning, so I was looking forward to a walk in the park with Bella. However by the time I finally went out, it was nearly 3pm. We still had a good walk, and spotted some daffodils pushing through, almost 10cm of leaves showing. Too early for any flowers, not even snowdrops are out yet, but a promising sign of the lengthening days nonetheless.

By the time we got near to the river the sun was low in the sky and there was a lovely golden glow over everything. I hoped to get a good photo of the bridge, but by the time I got to it, the sun was too low. So I turned thit camera round and got this instead.
