Just a smattering...

There was snow overnight, but just a smattering - and the gritters had been out in force, so the roads were pretty much clear this morning.

The evenings are noticeably lighter a little earlier, and it was lovely to walk on the Common in daylight (only just - it was almost dark as we drove home) with MrM and Louie after work. Colder on the Common than in Wooler - icy, compacted snow on the paths and the pond was frozen.

In need of a restful weekend after quite a stressful week at work, but we shall see...
