View from the cottage

Just before we set off home, I took a quick shot of the view from the front of the cottage we stayed in, at Capel Curig. I think the cottage was originally part of the stable block for the nearby Plas y Brenin, and is part of a row of terraced cottages. It has only just been done up and let as a holiday home, and while it was beautifully presented, there were a few things I'd change. There was nowhere to hang wet coats (what, in North Wales?!), none of the saucepans had lids (or is that normal?) and there wasn't anything suitable to do my pasta bake in the oven (I had to use the grill pan in the end).

All in all, it's been a very good week's holiday - I really don't want to go back to work next week :(
