Menagerie by the sea

We stopped to look at this group of birds on our way back from the beach.   This must be a popular roosting spot with a bird on each of these old pilings.

We encountered a Winter Texan couple from Utah sporting three cameras and three long zoom lens among two people.   We will have to go back and see if we can get a few more shots of our own.

Anyone care to name the birds in this capture?
