Susanna & Luigi got married!

This is the spectacular cake that finished a delicious meal (including a hog roast procession along the length of the dining room) and was representative of an absolutely wonderful day. The couple looked completely happy and relaxed all day long, the speech by my friend brought tears to our eyes, a group of us did an a capella rendition of "Goin' to the Chapel", serenading the couple at dinner until the entire congregation joined in, and we danced long into the night. Nothing was over-planned, yet everything was stunning. It was such a genuinely, heart-warmingly joyous celebration.


(And, as after the hen do, I was so excited by the events of the day that I forgot to take a photo the following day!)
