Drama amongst the teasels

I watched for near on half an hour as the smaller of the spiders kept on making advances towards the larger but every time he got too near the larger spider made her web twang and bounce and he rushed away and she resumed her position in the center of the web. Eventually she caught him and they twirled around, causing the web to break and he dropped away down into the foliage below.
