A Summer afternoon view

Shot from the bottom paddock, looking out to the plain past the neighbouring deer farm. These beautiful white deer are very camera shy, even a bit suspicious of me at this diistance.

I'm off to Mesopotamia tomorrow morning, taking a Cypriot tramper up to the trail head of the Te Araroa. I met her this evening as I was on my way back from the shop, and it seems a good opportunity to head back up to the foot of the mountains. I hoping for still weather so I can take my drone with me. I'm itching to us it but wind keeps on hampering my attempts to get airborne!!!!
