Bonkers

What a bonkers day today has been.
An anticipated knock on the door early this morning was accompanied by two police cars with flashing lights pulling up right outside our house and the figure of a big burly man as I opened the door. Thankfully the police cars were nothing to do with us and they were arresting a man running down the street!! The police cars delighted Aiden, as for once there was something to see out of the window on our usually quiet street!

The visitor was part of a group of three photographers from Cancer Research UK, who had asked Tim if he would do a story to camera about his experiences. When he was diagnosed, we both found it difficult not having heard of similar experiences of people Tim's age (although sadly we have heard lots since), so we hope that agreeing to feature in their publicity campaign will hope people in a similar situation and give them hope. Apparently Tim is a natural in front of camera! Very proud of him and we are looking forward to his five year Cancerversary in a few months time!
