Alter Ego

Clearly I have spent waaaaay too much time on my own over the last 12 days as Mr. W careens his way around Florida's racetracks.  As I walked into the kitchen earlier today, I caught sight of Mabel's bright red insulated cold weather coat hanging on the back of the chair, and it struck me that it looked like Superman's cape ... hmm ... mild-mannered dachshund by day, four-legged defender of truth, justice, and the American way during snow storms and inclement weather!
